Build the Foundation Before You Sprint

Early-Stage Founder Mentoring

Focused, personal mentoring for founders in the early phases – product, need, market, marketing, and finance. Most early-stage founders rush forward without the right foundation in place.

What's included:

The Questions We'll Answer Together

The goal of mentoring is to give you tools to make decisions. These are the questions we will work on together:

  • Are you mentally ready? How prepared you are to set out on the entrepreneurial journey: the passion, the willingness to give up today’s security, and the ability to hold on through the ups and downs.
  • Is there a real need? Whether the problem you are solving exists, and who lives with it every day. 3 checks before starting a startup
  • Is there a market? Who the customers are, how many there are, and what they do today instead of using your solution.
  • What is the right pricing? How much customers are willing to pay, and how the price fits your costs.
  • How do you go to market? Who you approach first, through which channels and with what message.
  • What is the initial financial plan? How much money you need, how long it lasts and when you need to raise. How to build a financial plan
  • What is the MVP? The minimal product that proves the idea, without reinventing the wheel.
  • Are you ready to raise capital? When to raise, from which type of investors, and how to prepare your story, deck and answers to the hard questions. What investors really test in a meeting

How It Works

  1. Intro call – no commitment. We check together whether and how it makes sense to work together.
  2. First meeting: the current picture and a plan – we understand the venture and its challenges, and build a work plan.
  3. One-hour sessions – on Zoom or in person. Usually 3 to 10 sessions, as needed.
  4. Work between sessions – you prepare materials from session to session, and I reflect the situation back to you, like a mirror, so you can make decisions and understand where you stand.
